Our knowledgeable guide will take you on a full-day trip to Old Cairo, starting with the Saladin Citadel. After lunch, you'll visit Al-Rifa'i Mosque, built by Sultan Hassan in 1361. The Sultan Hassan Mosque-Madrassa, one of Cairo's most striking mosques, was commissioned by An-Nasir Hasan during the Mamluk era. You will benefit from our safari tour to the White Desert and the Bahariya Oasis if you begin your journey from your lodging. With a brief stop for lunch, the trip from Cairo to the Bahriya Oasis takes approximately four hours. The Temple of Alexander the Great and the Valley of Golden Mummies are located at the Bahariya Oasis. We'll have a great lunch at a nearby restaurant and then return to the hotel for a brief visit in the hot springs. We'll be picked up once more later in the afternoon and driven to Mount Black He to see the "English House" ruins and enjoy the stunning view of the night oasis.
We'll take a car to the White Desert, which is a section of the Farafra Oasis, after breakfast. We’ll stop along the way at the Black Desert, which has mountains covered in old volcanic rock and a lot of black formations. Bahariya is the last town before the El Haize Valley, and if you'd like, it has a thermal bath.
Afterwards, we'll take you to the gorgeous Valley of Agabat so you can go sandboarding and see the quartz crystals in the Crystal Mountains. Lastly, you'll camp in the White Desert for the night and get to see an amazing sunset.
After breakfast, you'll head to the White Desert to explore the hot springs and take in the stunning white limestone cliffs that have been sculpted over thousands of years by the yearly sandstorms.
