The Temple of Luxor
The Opet Festival, which was the most important celebration, was centred on the Temple of Luxor. The temple served as a location for festival ceremonies and was mostly constructed by Amenhotep III and King Rameses II. Both temples are beautifully decorated with sculptures and artwork. This temple is a must-visit because of its intricately hand-carved pillars, statues, sculptures, and wall paintings.

In Cairo, get in a private van at your hotel. Drive leisurely 105 kilo metres southwest of Cairo to Fayoum. Arrive in the arid oasis of Fayoum Oasis and enjoy the birds at Quaroun Lake. Explore the Fayoum Museum's collection of sculptures and Roman portraits to learn more about the ancient city of Karanis.

After your tour, pause for lunch. Visit the Wadi Al Rayan environmental area, which is renowned for its animals, Quaroun Lake , and springs. Take some pictures of Egypt's biggest waterfall.
