Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our tour leader and private driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name.

You will be transferred to your hotel by an air-conditioned private vehicle to check in your hotel ( Le Meridian pyramids resort ) in Giza.

Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be served a welcome drink and our representative will help you with check in procedures and will revise your itinerary for the 8 days on Cairo and Christmas Nile Cruise by Flight and make sure all your pick-up times for your Egypt day tours are confirmed.

Have breakfast at your hotel in Cairo.

Your Egyptologist guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby to begin your Cairo day tours.

You will be transferred to the Giza Plateau and visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops ,the Pyramid of King Chephren the 3rd ruler of the 4th dynasty and the Pyramid of King Mycerinus.

We will also take you and drive to The Great Sphinx, which represents the guardian of the necropolis. Our last stop in Giza will be at the Valley Temple of king Chephren, which is built from Aswan granite for the mummification of the king, the colonnade of the temple consists of 16 pillars in the shape of the T-letter in the English alphabet.

Continue your Cairo trips by visiting The Egyptian Museum, which contains a huge collection of ancient Egyptian statues and artifacts, and the only royal treasure that was found intact is the treasures of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamen whose tomb in the Valley of the Kings was unearthed in 1922.

Then you will enjoy Coptic Cairo Tour to visit the Roman fortress of Babylon and the so-called Hanging Church suspended above the ancient towers of the fortress. After that, you will see the church of Abu Serga built above the cavern where the holy family stayed for about three months and the well from which the holy family was drinking, as well as Ben Ezra Synagogue, said to be the site where the basket of baby Moses was found.

You will take your lunch in a good quality Nile view restaurant, then you will continue your tour to Islamic Cairo, to spend some time at Khan El Khalili, the oldest bazaar in Egypt.

Finally, you will be dropped off at Le Meridian pyramids resort.

Check out from your hotel in Giza after breakfast then your tour manager will accompany you to Cairo International Airport to take your flight to Aswan, there, you will meet our representative and embark on your enchanting Steigenberger MS Minerva Nile Cruise.

After the check-in you will spend some free time getting used to your cabin that you will enjoy for the next few days, you will relish your 1st lunch meal aboard the cruise, and you will meet your guide in the lobby to start your amazing Luxor day tours by visiting the magnificent Temple of Karnak, which covers a spacious area, resume your Luxor East Bank Tours to the Temple of Luxor dedicated to the Theban Trinity ( Amun, Mut, and their son Khonsu ) and beautifully lit in the night on the East Bank.

Your delicious dinner meal is going to be served onboard your Egypt Nile River Cruise and spend your first night in Luxor on the water of the eternal river.

After enjoying your breakfast aboard the Nile cruise boat, you will enjoy the west bank of Luxor tour and cross the Nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III renowned as the Colossi of Memnon, and then visit the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery of the New Kingdom Pharaohs including famous Tutankhamen and legendary Ramses the second, the tombs in the valley of kings is considered a UNESCO heritage site. Continue the tour to visit Hatshepsut's Temple known as El Deir El Bahari, which was built by the famous architect Senmout for Queen Hatshepsut, the first female ruler in written history.

Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride

Take your wholesome lunch, while the ship is sailing to Edfu to continue your enjoyable Egypt Christmas and New Year tours and visit the fascinating views along the way. Another dinner will be served aboard the cruise ship, and then enjoy the musical show and entertainment. You will spend the second night on the water of the Nile in Edfu.

Eat your breakfast aboard your Egypt Nile River Cruise, and then get off the boat escorted by your personal guide to visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to the falcon God Horus, the temple of Edfu. Back to the cruise that will continue sailing south towards Kom Ombo. On arrival to Kom Ombo, you will leave the cruise again to visit the captivating Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the crocodile God Sobek of the region and also to God Horaeris, after spending enough time at the temple you will be back to the ship to enjoy your lunch, then the boat will be heading to the last stop at Aswan.

Dinner and overnight served on board Steigenberger MS Minerva Nile Cruise at Aswan.

A breakfast buffet will be served aboard the  Nile cruise, you will start your sightseeing tours in Aswan with your private guide. You will be taken to the famous High Dam, which is considered an engineering marvel and one of the biggest dams in the world, then you will take the boat ride to reach the awesome Philae temple the last temple where ancient Egyptian gods were worshiped even after the spread of Christianity, the temple is sitting above a beautiful island in the River Nile.

The tour continues to the granite quarries in Aswan to visit the largest known Obelisk probably made by the great queen Hatshepsut, it was left unfinished to tell us the story of how such monoliths were freed from the quarry, the Unfinished Obelisk.

After completing the interesting Aswan day tours, you will be back to your amazing Egypt Nile River Cruise. Your lovely dinner is going to be served on board and you will spend your last night on the water in Aswan.

On the last day in Aswan, you will disembark from your Steigenberger MS Minerva Nile Cruise, after having an oriental breakfast onboard, and then you will meet our airport representative to take you to Aswan Airport for your return flight to Cairo.

Meet and assist upon arrival at Cairo International Airport then our tour leader will take you to your hotel in Giza.
