To begin your Cairo day tours, we will pick you up from the airport and take you to Saqqara to visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. This pyramid is the oldest stone building in the world and was designed by the talented architect and vizier of King Djoser, Imhotep, who held over 12 titles for his many achievements. Saqqara is located about 27 km southwest of Cairo and is the richest archaeological site in Egypt. There, you can explore the Mastaba tombs of the Nobles and witness the development of the royal tomb in ancient Egypt. Additionally, you have the opportunity to enter the pyramid of King Teti and the tomb of his son-in-law, Kagemni, who served as the vizier of justice during the 6th dynasty of the old kingdom.

Here, you will witness the partially damaged colossal statue of Ramses II and the enormous Alabaster Sphinx, which is made from a single block of stone and weighs 80 tons. This sphinx is the second largest of its kind after the Great Sphinx of Giza. Memphis City was established by Menes the Pharaoh, who unified Upper and Lower Egypt and initiated the dynastic history of the Pharaohs around 3100 B.C. The victory is commemorated on a beautiful palette displayed in the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. Upon completion of the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in.
