6 Days Cairo and White Desert Adventure from Bangkok

Your second day in Cairo begins with an awe-inspiring visit to the Giza Pyramids, home to the iconic Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. As you approach these ancient wonders, the sheer size and majesty of the pyramids will leave you breathless. Marvel at the architectural genius of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only surviving wonder of the ancient world.

After an enriching morning, you'll head to the heart of Islamic Cairo, a district rich in history and culture. Visit the stunning Mosque of Muhammad Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, located in the Citadel of Saladin. This impressive structure offers panoramic views of the city. Also, you will try the traditional tea mint in El Fishawy or Layaly Al-Hussein, Cairo's oldest cafe in Khan El Khalili. Back again to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

In the afternoon, you'll explore Coptic Cairo, the spiritual heart of Egypt's Christian community. Visit the Hanging Church, one of the oldest churches in Egypt, and we will go through Old Cairo streets to see the church of St Sergius and the crypt where the holy family stayed for three months the last place to see in Old Cairo is going to be Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the oldest Jewish Synagogues in Cairo.

Embark on an exciting journey from the bustling city of Cairo to the serene Bahariya Oasis, nestled in Egypt's Western Desert. Upon arrival, you'll explore the Valley of the Golden Mummies, a fascinating archaeological site revealing well-preserved mummies and offering insights into the region's ancient burial practices.

Continue to the Tombs of the Nobles, where intricate carvings and vibrant frescoes narrate the lives of Bahariya's elite. The tour also includes a visit to the Temple of Alexander the Great, a rare monument commemorating the conqueror's link to Egypt. Finally, marvel at the Temple of Ein El Meffetla, an ancient sanctuary surrounded by palm trees and natural springs, providing a serene conclusion to your day.

On your fourth day, prepare to be mesmerized by the contrasting landscapes of the White and Black Deserts. Begin your adventure with a drive to the Black Desert, where volcanic hills and dark boulders create a striking, otherworldly terrain. The black rocks and sands provide a surreal backdrop, perfect for photography and exploration. 

After soaking in the unique beauty of the Black Desert, continue to the White Desert, famous for its dramatic limestone formations.
