As you approach these ancient wonders, the sheer size and majesty of the pyramids will leave you breathless. Marvel at the architectural genius of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only surviving wonder of the ancient world.
After an enriching morning, you'll head to the heart of Islamic Cairo, a district rich in history and culture. Visit the stunning Mosque of Muhammad Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, located in the Citadel of Saladin. This impressive structure offers panoramic views of the city. Also, you will try the traditional tea mint in El Fishawy or Layaly Al-Hussein, Cairo's oldest cafe in Khan El Khalili. Back again to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.
In the afternoon, you'll explore Coptic Cairo, the spiritual heart of Egypt's Christian community. Visit the Hanging Church, one of the oldest churches in Egypt, and we will go through Old Cairo streets to see the church of St Sergius and the crypt where the holy family stayed for three months the last place to see in Old Cairo is going to be Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the oldest Jewish Synagogues in Cairo.
