Ramses II was the one who built the outer part of the temple, but Amenhotep III was responsible for the inner part of the temple.
Afterward, you will visit the temple of Karnak. Ancient Egypt, especially during the New Kingdom, was the most influential religious center. The main temple was dedicated to the worship of the god Amun, but as in other Egyptian temples, other deities were also venerated.
