On your first day, our representative will meet you upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport to transfer you by an air-conditioned private vehicle to your hotel in Cairo and assist you with all the check-in procedures.
After having your breakfast in the morning, our tour guide will escort you to the Necropolis of Giza area. You will take an in-depth tour of the area and learn all about Egypt and its ancient history.
You will visit the three Great Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple before heading to the Memphis area, where we will get to explore the modern village of Mit-Rahina; the open-air museum of Memphis, the display includes the alabaster sphinx, as well as displays and Sarcophagi that were found in Mit-Rahina (the modern village where Memphis was standing) including the enormous laying of Ramses II. After leaving the area, we will head to a near restaurant to have lunch.
And finally, we will put our day to an end by visiting the Sakkara pyramid before our tour leader takes you back to your hotel.
After having breakfast at your hotel, we will transfer you to downtown Cairo, to visit the Egyptian Museum located in Tahrir Square. You will take an in-depth tour of the halls of the museum with your certified tour guide and see the masterpieces that the museum houses.
After leaving downtown Cairo, we will head to a near local restaurant before transferring to Old Cairo. There, we will start first with the Islamic part by visiting the Mamluk Mosque and Madrasas of Sultan Hassan, and the mosque of Ibn Tulun the oldest standing mosque in Africa built over one thousand years ago.
After that, your tour guide and driver will escort you to Coptic Cairo. You will start sightseeing in the Coptic district of Cairo to see an Old Roman fortress built by Emperor Trajan, the Roman fortress of Babylon. Move to the Hanging Church which is built above the ruins of the fortress.
We will also take you to the Church of Abu Serga, which is built above the cavern of the Holy Family, as well as the Old Cairo synagogue also known as Ben Ezra Synagogue which has an exciting history as one of the oldest synagogues in Cairo. On the fourth day, we will continue Cairo day tours.
We will head in the morning to Salah El-Din Citadel, where you will get to explore the architecture of the medieval Islamic era in Egypt before heading to Cairo Tower, the tallest structure in Egypt for 37 years until 1998, then after leaving the tower, we will take a shopping tour in downtown Cairo and have lunch.
This will be our last tour in Cairo. after your breakfast, we will escort you to Mohamed Ali Palace before transferring you to Garbage City, the area dedicated only to all waste consumption, recycling, and disposal. Then by the end of the day, we will head to Baron Palace, the Indian-inspired mansion in Heliopolis.
In the early morning, you will get to check out from your Cairo hotel before taking your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival at Aswan, we will assist you with the check-in procedures at your Aswan Cruise one of the best Egyot Nile Cruises before transferring you to begin an enjoyable tour of the high dam which is considered an engineering wonder built during the 1960s and resulted the largest artificial lake in the world behind, the dam was created to secure Egypt from the devastation that the Nile flood used to cause on annual basis, and also from the severe droughts the country used to suffer and at the same time, was useful to manage the flooding water throughout the year. At the time of its construction, the High Dam was responsible for around 50 % of the electricity production in Egypt, providing electricity to most of Egypt’s villages for the first time.
Then you will be transferred to the granite quarries in Aswan which provided the ancient Egyptians with such an enduring substance needed for building their statues, buildings, and most importantly their obelisks, in the quarry, you will see the Unfinished Obelisk laid, this incomplete artifact shows the progress of carving an obelisk and release it from the mountain in ancient Egypt. this obelisk was most apparently cut during the time of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most dominant female rulers in the ancient Egyptian history.
Then continue to visit the majestic Philae Temple the Centre of the cult of Goddess Isis the chief deity of the island, the temple would have been completely submerged under the rising water if an international salvage campaign had not taken place to relocate the temple, you will reach the temple after an enjoyable boat ride to the island. Philae Temple rose to prominence during the Ptolemaic Dynasty and was actually one of the last remaining places where the ancient Egyptian religion was practiced after the spreading of Christianity in Egypt.
In the morning, you will head with your tour guide to Kom Ombo Temple, about 45 kilometers north of Aswan, to discover the temple's fascinating architecture. Then we will spend the rest of the day sailing to Edfu.
We will reach Edfu temple on the early morning of the eighth day of your trip. One of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, that was dedicated to the worship of the God Horus. We will have an in-depth tour of the temple and take some memorable pictures before sailing to Luxor.
After having your breakfast in the morning, you will visit the fantastic Luxor Temple, built by the New Kingdom pharaohs, this temple is a strikingly graceful monument in the heart of the modern town. Also known as the Southern Sanctuary, its main function was during the annual Opet celebrations.
Then, visit the Valley of the Kings to begin your exciting day. The New Kingdom pharaohs cut their tombs into the mountains there in an effort to conceal their treasure and safeguard their mummies. As there is no inside guidance for the tombs, your tour guide will explain everything from the outside. Then, from the ones that are open, explore the top 3 tombs. The most known tombs are King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah, and AmonhotepII.
Followed by a visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut known as El Dir El Bahari which was built by Queen Hatshepsut the daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C), the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.
at the end we will visit The Colossi of Memnon which are remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III then, we transfer you to have lunch in a local restaurant and return you to your Luxor hotel.
By the night you will be transferred back to your cruise.
On the tenth day, you will get to check out from your cruise before taking your domestic flight back to Cairo.
Our Representative will meet you at your hotel to transfer you by an air-conditioned private vehicle to start our day in the White Desert, an open museum for the desert environment, geographical phenomena, fossils, and wildlife.
You will get to explore the beauty of sand dune views and geological formations of limestone rocks and white chalk and their fossils. and after you finish watching this wonderful area you will have a rest for a tasty lunch in a local restaurant near the spot.
And at the end of the day, we will transfer you back to Cairo to resume your 12-day of Egypt tours.
For the last time, we will meet you at your hotel lobby after checking out to escort you to your last destination; Cairo International Airport, to catch your international flight back home.
