Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and check out of your room. Get ready in the lobby because we will pick you up and take you to Cairo airport for your domestic flight to Luxor to continue your Egypt tours. When you arrive in Luxor, we will be waiting for you at the airport and take you to your hotel to rest, if possible. If not, we will immediately begin our west bank of Luxor tour starting with the Valley of the Kings, which is famous worldwide for the necropolis of the new kingdom pharaohs. You will have the opportunity to explore three incredible tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Then, we will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as the temple of Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon, the only remaining structures from the mortuary temple of King Amenophis III, which face the Nile.
After enjoying a gourmet lunch at a pleasant local restaurant in Luxor, we will continue our East Bank of Luxor tour This tour will take us to the stunning Complex of Karnak Temple, which was built over the course of 2000 years by various kings and rulers of ancient Egypt. Our journey will begin with a walk along the Avenue of the Sphinxes, flanking the passageway that connects the Karnak and Luxor temples. During this time, we will witness the Unfinished Pylon of King Nectanebo, the last Pharaoh of the 30th dynasty, as well as the hypostyle hall, which is made up of 134 massive columns. Our guide will direct us towards the largest standing Obelisk in Egypt, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut within the domains of the sun God Amun Re. Furthermore, we will receive a comprehensive overview of the temple of Amon, adorned with lotus and papyrus designs that represent the two lands of upper and lower Egypt. We will also get to see the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III and the astonishing sacred lake, which is located at the center of the temple.
